18. Scrapping and Yelling and Mixing it Up

I feel like people spend half of their blogging time writing about post frequency goals, explaining why they haven't written in months and setting new goals and not sticking to them and so on. So, I'm not going to do that. I'll just continue on as if I just posted a few days ago because this thing is just for fun and if I'm too busy doing other things to stop and reflect and write about it, that's my beeswax.

As my time in Dublin inevitably draws to a close, I'm already starting to feel nostalgic about the last year, what I'm going to miss, and really trying to grip it and rip it, as they say. Man oh man, have I been livin' it up! Seeing Europe, going out, appreciating Dublin, and on and on! I'll start this massive catch up session with a compilation of fun days and nights. There will be much more fun to come, of course.

Valentine's Day was spent with the 2 best dates a girl could ask for at my favorite bar, Gypsy Rose
Valentine's Day started with an outdoor screening of Brief Encounter. Obviously, I was in to it.

What are you looking at? And a little shiny from dancing - the usual...

At The George, one of the few gay clubs. We had just caught the end of a drag show. Fab!
Lovely lady librarians in training - servin' the 'tude!
Another outdoor movie - Spinal Tap - preceded by the best hummus feast picnic I've ever packed.

At the best coffee place, 3FE. Check out that coffee trio - to share or to just go crazy with on your own (beware of jitters and tummy aches if you do choose to go it alone)

S'mores party!
"Independents" Day - a zine fair. It was a windy, rainy trek to this event, but worth it to see all the art. Oh, for the love of zines!
Walking home from the zine fair, I thought I heard a cute song on someone's car radio coming up behind me. As it turned out, it was a man on a unicycle playing a ukelele, singing "Keep on Rocking in the Free World." Needless to say (but here I go saying it anyway), that's not what I expected to see when I turned around...
Good, good times, one and all! And those don't even include all of the out-of-the-country good times! More on my most recent adventures abroad to come in the next post.
